Nikon Nights 📸

I wanted to start a photography series that I think would be an interesting project to continue to use my Nikon D5300. I know Nikon find themselves as the punching bag of cameras, so I thought screw it and decided to do a night series to see what we could produce!

The first place I decided to do this was in Lincoln. I spent 5 years here studying a Drama BA and then stepping up to a Film Production MA, graduating in 2022. During my time at University, I noticed how dated the city looked. Although it was brimming with a rich history and some beautiful architecture, It felt quite drab and dreary in the city centre. Towards the end of my course, the University and city centre started getting redeveloped which has brought some new life to the area, making it more vibrant and sophisticated.

So……. I was actually working at Lincoln Station when I went out to take these photos and I did get kicked out of the car park for trespassing. In all, it was a great experience using the Nikon in these low light situations. Some of the photos came out excellent, just wish I had taken a tripod.
