My 3 favourite gems from Kavos! 🇬🇷
Home Bar
Towards the far end of the main strip in Kavos sits an elegant bar with a multicultural/European charm. The bar does not have a direct name, but the owner has said that most people call it ‘Home Bar’. This is due to the bar being the actual dwelling of the owning couple. This is by far one of the best places to have a nice and quiet drink at the start of an evening. You could literally sit here until close either outside the front under the veranda or in the cozy rear garden.
Take a look for yourself with the reel I made about it!! A real gem!!

Courser Chinese Restaurant
On our penultimate night we decided to try this Chinese restaurant with a big neon sign and pagoda style front entrance. After trying a number of different venues throughout the 10 days, we figured the food couldn’t be any worse than what we’d eaten prior to this visit. To our surprise, the food was wonderful, I had a spicy chicken noodle dish with spring rolls and the meal had just the right amount of kick, full of flavour and was worth every penny.
You can find this restaurant straight facing the Home Bar.
Lefkimmi
You would be missing out if you didn’t take a day or even an afternoon to visit the town of Lefkimmi.
Lefkimmi is a town in the Southern part of Corfu. It stands as a traditional Greek town with a quiet charm, a river running through the center, boasting some cafés and bars. As you head up the hill you will find some rundown, but beautifully aged buildings, stunning architecture and greenery.
There are around 5000 inhabitants, many Corfu born and raised. A perfect escape from the chaos of Kavos! If you are staying in Kavos and fancy a more cultured tone, traditional Greek food and some café culture, then grab a taxi and take the 15ish minute journey from Kavos. ☕

Wherever you plan on staying in Kavos, always explore your options for day trips and nearby visits. There are nearby ferry ports that can take you to mainland Greece and Albania if you fancy something a little different during your stay.

Hotels 🏨: There are a plethora of options on Kavos’ main strip, but you can also find some wonderful little beach front spots in the quieter town of Leftkimmi.
